Board members announced a Shakespeare in the Park performance of Tempest at Wilkerson Park scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.; the board said the Grama Community Foundation covered the cost and the Council Room will serve as a rain location.
Members also discussed promoting recurring food-truck events. A board member said they will order 10–12 uniform yard signs and use the town Facebook page event imagery to advertise; signs would be placed about a week before events. The expected cost was described as modest and board members said invoices for signage should appear for approval at a future meeting.
A member asked whether electronic reader boards could be used; staff noted limited pages per cycle and suggested yard signs as the most practical immediate step. The board confirmed the events have generally had good attendance, with one member estimating about 100 people on average.
Staff will place an order for signage and present any invoices for approval at a subsequent meeting.
