Pleasant Valley board appoints Brianna Collier as chief financial officer, effective June 15

The Pleasant Valley Community School District board moved to appoint Brianna Collier as the district's chief financial officer effective June 15, 2026. The motion, made by Director Kanwisher and seconded by Director Ayers, passed on a roll-call vote with every member answering yes.

The appointment followed a closed executive session held under the applicable open-meetings statute to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose hiring was being considered. After returning to open session, the board recorded the appointment and members offered congratulations.

Next steps: Collier's start date was set for June 15; the business office will transition responsibilities and notify staff and external partners as part of the onboarding process.
