Stewartville council adopts flag policy, approves multiple final plats and awards road contract

Other council business included a resolution supporting a joint grant application with High Forest Township for improvements to 15th Avenue Northeast through the state’s Local Road Improvement Program (LRP) and a resolution consenting to MnDOT’s request to convert several small triangular city-owned parcels to permanent right-of-way for the Highway 30 project.
City staff also recommended and the council approved a low bid to repair the exterior masonry, steps and railings at City Hall; the work is planned for spring 2026.
