CONCORD — The House Education Funding Committee on Wednesday advanced a non‑germane amendment to Senate Bill 491 that replaces language referring to "curriculum frameworks" with "academic standards," a change sponsors and the Department of Education said will clarify regulatory text and help districts align curriculum, instruction and assessment.
