Steve Gatlin of Wilson County Animals Control said the department will attend the Wilson County Mental Health Fair at Cumberland University's Alumni Hall on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., bringing adoptable dogs and providing opportunities to pet animals.
Gatlin said the agency will have a volunteer information table and will share information about low-cost spay and neuter options available in Wilson County. He added that partners including Amazon and Wilson County donated a pallet of dog food and some cat food that will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
