Council approved routine agenda items and bills, discussed the cost and grant-split for rental bicycles, and agreed to move its August meeting date to avoid a scheduling conflict.
During bill payment the council noted rental bicycles cost about $1,100 apiece; members said a prior grant covered part of the cost and that St. Joe is sharing half the expense. On scheduling, council members debated changing the Aug. 18 meeting time to 5:30 p.m. versus moving the meeting; members preferred preserving the usual meeting time and voted to move the meeting to Aug. 25.
The council adjourned the meeting at approximately 5:44 p.m.
