The Advisory Committee on Environmental Sustainability (ACES) re-elected Elizabeth Mays as chair and selected H.G. Parsa as vice-chair during its April 13, 2026 meeting in the Broomfield Health & Human Services Building.
During the committee’s onboarding and elections segment, Brandon Mauch moved to nominate Elizabeth Mays to continue as ACES chair; H.G. Parsa seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Elizabeth Mays then moved to nominate H.G. Parsa as vice-chair; Jon Boomershine seconded and that motion also passed unanimously. The meeting record shows 13 members present and three absent.
The nominations followed a brief orientation presentation listed as the 2026 ACES Orientation Presentation; Barney Gordon (Director of Public Works) is recorded as introducing the onboarding segment. Committee members raised no recorded objections to either leadership motion. The committee also approved the March ACES meeting minutes by a unanimous voice vote earlier in the meeting.
The committee reserved five minutes near the end of the agenda for items to add to next month’s agenda and adjourned at 8:26 p.m.
