She added that details about retirements or resignations could be shared in an appropriate, and potentially confidential, manner but should not be on the same list being voted on.
The board also reviewed Policy JIG (student protests, demonstrations and strikes) on first read. Members suggested editorial and clarity edits: correcting punctuation, replacing the word "abridged" with more accessible alternatives (suggestions included "shortened," "condensed"), and clarifying whether the phrase "after the staff school day concludes" refers to contracted hours. One member said the language should specifically use "contracted hours" to avoid confusion given differences between student and staff schedules.
