Adam, who handled roll calls and technical logistics, summarized notice considerations during the discussion: "If all five board members are available, we'll get that out ASAP. And I think that would avoid the normal complaints around that. Otherwise, we need 48 hour notice." The board debated whether the situation constituted an "emergency" or a special meeting and discussed options for a Tuesday 5:00 p.m. meeting versus a regular evening meeting to avoid conflicts with school events.
