Staff also said the amendment would be submitted to the Met Council for review and that preliminary conversations suggested a straightforward review.
Commissioners asked about downstream consequences for development east of County Road 92 and staff replied the ordinance contains provisions for land east of 92 and that subdivision details (lot layouts and road access) would be evaluated later if the amendment is approved. A commissioner moved to recommend council adoption of the amendment and the rezoning ordinance; the motion was seconded, the vote was unanimous, and staff said the item will appear on the May 4 City Council consent agenda.
