Chairperson Enos Loberg and the Worth County Board of Supervisors on May 11 accepted several filings and actions related to local drainage districts.
On motions by Mark Smeby and A.J. Stone, the board approved a work order for DD #11-G submitted by the Charles E. Stoffregen Trust and accepted a petition from Doug Meyer to annex a private lateral into DD #11. The board also accepted the DD #46 outlet report filed by Jon Rosengren of Bolton & Menk, Inc., and directed staff to obtain estimates to clean the ditch to the state line. The board accepted Amendment No. 3 for DD #18, filed by Rosengren, and set a hearing on DD #18 for June 29 at 9:30 a.m.
The actions were conducted by unanimous vote; the meeting minutes record that all members were present and voting "AYE" unless noted. The approvals move routine drainage maintenance and boundary matters forward and schedule a public hearing to consider amendments to DD #18.
