Pinole mayor recaps Fourth of July, posthumously presents key to longtime public‑works worker

"The Pinole Police Department led the torch run again this year to support the Northern California Special Olympics," Sisaya said, describing officers guiding athletes and city staff along San Pablo Avenue and passing the torch to San Pablo PD.
Sisaya asked residents to watch the city’s calendar for more events and encouraged community participation. He noted that the city will be at Bayfront Park on Sept. 20 for Coastal Cleanup Day and invited volunteers to help clean Pinole’s shoreline and earn service hours.
