Planning staff noted utility comments would guide the preliminary plat and construction drawings but were not a hindrance to accepting the concept plan, and the commission voted to accept it as submitted.
On a separate item, staff explained the state changed its public‑notice statute, increasing the minimum notice for hearings from 15 to 21 days. "It used to be 15 days public notice requirement for public hearings and they've changed it to 21," staff said. The commission voted to send a positive recommendation to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to amend Chapter 14 of the Leverne zoning ordinance to reflect the new statutory timing.
Staff also reported that bonds and letters of credit are up to date and that the summary sheet previously distributed to the commission is expected to be available again next month. With business concluded, the chair adjourned the meeting.
