The Warren County Fiscal Court moved through a full agenda on April 30, approving several procedural and financial items that officials said support county operations and ongoing projects.
On the consent and action calendar the court approved minutes from March 26, 2026; personnel changes; the Warren County Road Department work schedule; and multiple procurement items. Among notable approvals: a roofing contract award for roof replacement at volunteer fire stations (low bid accepted), renewal and maintenance agreements for jail equipment and a new lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet for a 2026 Ford F-250 for parks downtown landscaping (contracted vendor; not to exceed $1,200 per month for 60 months), and insurance renewals noted on the agenda.
The court accepted an Emergency Management Performance Grant in the amount shown in the agenda text ($48,459.27) and authorized the judge executive to execute related documents. It also approved workforce contracts to continue the Bowling Green Works initiative, including a Crowd South contract for $90,000 with a city match for a 12‑month term ending June 30, 2027, and an amended workforce-coordinator agreement with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce for $35,000 annually through Feb. 28, 2028.
Multiple road-acceptance, lighting-agreement and parcel-approval items were advanced as first readings or motions as listed on the agenda. The treasurer reported claims for multiple funds and the court approved payment of bills by roll call.
Magistrates and staff provided brief departmental updates and reminded the public of community events, early voting dates and upcoming ribbon-cuttings. The court recorded roll-call votes for each agenda item presented.
Where amounts or vendor text in the meeting record were unclear on the transcript, county minutes or agendas should be consulted for precise contract figures and award documentation.
