The independent auditor for the Town of Ross reported a clean, unmodified opinion on the town’s fiscal‑year 2025 financial statements at the April 29 meeting.
Nathan Edelman of the audit firm ID Bailey told the council and staff that the audit produced no significant deficiencies or material weaknesses in internal controls over financial reporting and no exceptions related to the town’s Gann appropriations calculations. The auditor said the firm encountered no difficulties during the engagement and thanked town accounting staff for timely responses and documentation.
Council members praised staff for the result and noted the town’s strong fiscal performance, including a recurring surplus and a nearly $1 million positive variance reported in the nine‑month financial summary. Council voted to accept the annual financial report.
