The Navasota Planning and Zoning Commission on the evening of the meeting approved a replat for a property at 2029 Eagle View Drive that moves a western lot line a few feet to eliminate a private walkway encroachment.
Staff told the commission the submitted replat was reviewed against applicable subdivision standards and met the criteria; surveyor Steven Wnski was present as the project representative to answer technical questions. Commissioners asked whether the homeowner paid a filing fee for the minor correction and whether title work had missed the encroachment; staff said the replat fee is $500 and that the plat must be filed with the county.
Commissioner Copelan moved to approve the replat application; Commissioner Carolyn Kakowski seconded and the motion carried on a voice vote with no opposition recorded. The decision clears the property line discrepancy and positions the parcel for future sale or transfer without the existing encroachment.
