The Tennessee Technological University Board of Trustees approved a series of committee recommendations by roll call vote.
Bylaws: On a motion from Trustee Jones and a second from Trustee Harper, the board amended trustee bylaws to change the quorum from five of nine voting members to six of eleven voting members; the motion passed on roll call.
Consent agenda and policies: The board approved a consent agenda that included updated university policies (Policy 207 on tenure for faculty; Policy 506 on general and group travel; Policy 511 on payment of student fees and enrollment; and Policy 536 on solicitation and acceptance of gifts) following committee action earlier in the day.
