Shamokin Area school board adopts facility grant resolution, approves routine measures; transportation waiver passes 7–1

By unanimous roll-call votes the board authorized payment of bills, approved the district special education plan and adopted the middle and high school program of studies. One contested vote involved a motion to approve transportation services and to waive associated charges. The motion passed on a roll-call vote, 7–1; board member Mr. Krieger cast the lone 'No' vote.
