Board moves into closed session for bargaining, litigation and property matters
Summary
At the end of the May 5 work session the board voted to convene a closed session to discuss collective bargaining strategy, threatened or pending litigation (Selia Sland Park annexation), contract negotiations and property/water-rights matters under the Open Meetings Act. The board returned to open session and adjourned at 12:59 p.m.
Chair Sanchez moved and the board seconded a motion to convene in closed session to discuss collective bargaining, threatened or pending litigation identified by case name, contract negotiations, and acquisition or disposition of real property or water rights under the authority of the Open Meetings Act (NMSA). The roll call motion passed and the board met in closed session before returning to open session and adjourning the meeting.
