The council approved the minutes of its April 28 meeting and adopted the May 5 agenda by voice vote. Members approved multiple requests to waive the noise ordinance for upcoming events and handled a mix of layovers when members moved to defer specific dates for additional review.
A consent package introduced under the meeting’s consent calendar (items 03480 through 6489) included appointments to the Mobile County Board of Human Resources, fund transfers among capital projects, determinations that certain structures are public nuisances (and orders to demolish those structures), and appropriations to multiple local organizations.
