Superintendent: Osborne wing complete; Midland wing in final paving and awaiting inspection

"We are thrilled to share that the new wing at Osborne School has been completed and students begin occupying the space on April 27th," Dr. Murray said. On Midland, she said the wing "is currently in the paving process and we are scheduled for a fire inspection this week. If all goes well, we are hopeful that students will be able to begin using that space as early as next week."
The superintendent also used her report to flag upcoming community events, including National Teacher Appreciation Week and National School Nurse Day, and to note that spring concerts and art shows will begin district-wide in the coming weeks.
Board members did not take formal action on the bond items at the meeting; the superintendent’s update provided a status check for the community and operational teams. The district reminded the public that the proposed 2026–27 budget and two board trustee seats will be decided by a public vote on May 19 from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the middle school gym.
