Norfolk Public Schools honors early-childhood teacher Lisa Dasher with Award for Excellence

The Norfolk Public Schools Board recognized Lisa Dasher, an early-childhood special-education teacher at Little Panthers Preschool, as the district’s May Award for Excellence.
Mrs. Bauman described Dasher’s work creating and running the WIN program, praising her passion, knowledge and adaptability in supporting students with high needs. Dasher accepted the award and said she was honored and motivated to continue cultivating learning spaces where students thrive.
In addition to a plaque, the district announced a $50 Hy-Vee gift card donated by a sponsor and $500 to be used with Mrs. Jantz on a project to benefit Little Panthers Preschool.
