Students showcase 3D printing and sculpture in Colesberry and Goldsberry spotlights

"As Mr. H said, my name is Hayden Stewart, and I'll be showing you today my 3D print, my marble mazes," he said, explaining the layout, rod placement and trial-and-error adjustments.
An art teacher from Goldsberry introduced student Gibson, who described building a plaster sculpture using tin foil, plaster and paint. The teacher said students document the creative process with paragraphs that explain how they built their pieces and that the school displays exemplary works in a hallway gallery.
Board members and staff framed the presentations as hands-on examples of problem-solving, design thinking and arts instruction. The district’s 3D-printing and plaster projects were presented as classroom-based activities intended to build creativity and technical skills rather than as part of a formal curriculum change.
The spotlight concluded with district staff inviting board members to view student work in the hallway and to participate in a group photo.
