Aberdeen council approves salary ordinance with two HR adjustments

The Aberdeen City Council on Oct. 28, 2024, approved Ordinance 24106, which sets salaries and wages for city officials and employees for the upcoming year. Jordan told the council the ordinance in the meeting packet included two changes provided by the Human Resources Department.
Council Member Lelt moved to approve and Council Member Reinbold seconded; the council recorded a unanimous roll-call vote approving the ordinance on second reading. Jordan noted he did not compile the ordinance text himself and that the changes originated in Human Resources.
The ordinance passed as amended in the council packet; the council did not add further changes during the meeting.
