Sycamore recognizes spelling‑bee finalist Edison Hooper and Excellence in Education winners

An administrator read a prepared citation noting that Edison won the middle‑school spelling bee and finished second at the regional competition, and trustees and attendees applauded and took photos. The board also announced district nominees for the 2025–2026 Excellence in Education awards at the elementary, middle and high school levels and recognized county winners in support staff and administrator categories.
The presiding member and administrators thanked the winners and noted the awards reflect staff dedication across the Sycamore community.
