Cary CCSD 26 approves new finance chief and human-resources director
Summary
The board approved Dr. Thomas’s recommendations to hire Matt Glansman as assistant superintendent of finance and operations and Belinda Kenyon as director of human resources (Kenyon on a short-term contract beginning May 11, 2026, then a one-year contract starting July 1, 2026).

Dr. Thomas recommended Matt Glansman for assistant superintendent of finance and operations. The administration presented Glansman’s background, including prior roles in finance and school leadership, and the board voted to approve his appointment and welcomed him to the district.
The board also approved Belinda Kenyon as director of human resources, approving a short-term contract that would begin May 11, 2026 and run through June 30, 2026, followed by a one-year contract beginning July 1, 2026. Kenyon’s experience and recommended start dates were read into the record by Dr. Thomas.
