Cary CCSD 26 elects Julie Jetty board president; names officers and committee assignments

At its April 27 meeting the Cary CCSD 26 board elected Julie Jetty president, named Melinda Hartman vice president and Stacy Salt secretary, appointed David Shepard treasurer and Laura Dorfler recording secretary, and approved committee assignments for curriculum, finance, policy, technology and other committees.
The Cary Community Consolidated School District 26 Board of Education held its annual officer elections on April 27 and approved committee assignments for the coming year.
Julie Jetty was elected board president; Melinda (Mindy) Hartman was named vice president and Stacy Salt was elected secretary. The board also appointed David Shepard as treasurer and Laura Dorfler as recording secretary.
Board members discussed committee representation and approved the slate as presented, assigning Jason Jansik as finance chair (listed, though he was absent at roll call), Katherine Potter as policy chair, Bridget Sandlin as technology representative and other assignments for ethics, insurance and community engagement committees.
