"It's a really beautiful piece of property with a panoramic view of Pilot Mountain," Whitner said, and he told commissioners he and his wife had done outreach to neighbors and the local church and found substantial support.
A commissioner moved to approve rezoning request 24-877 to rezone about 33 acres from REU to RACZ for a glamping resort; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The transcript does not show a roll-call tally.
