Schwarz introduced himself to the board and public as Don Schwarz of 301 Beverly Drive, said he moved to Atoka in fall 2022, has a bachelor's degree in urban planning and currently works with the Alzheimer's Association. He said he looks forward to serving on the commission and learning more about town planning matters.
Mayor Aken said the appointment was informational at this meeting and that Schwarz would be ready to attend Planning Commission meetings after his scheduled absence at the commission's March meeting.
