Health Up Training and Services opens in Edison, offers medical-assistant and phlebotomy programs

Health Up Training and Services held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Edison to mark the opening of a private career training institute and affiliated home-care agency on Route 1 South.

Mayor Youssef, who thanked Joe Coyle, president of the Chamber of Commerce, called the facility "a necessary business" that will help train individuals for the health-care industry, including nurses and assistants. "I had a chance to tour the facility and it is such a unique grand opening," the mayor said, noting the site’s training and home-care functions.

An owner of Health Up Training and Services described the organization as "a private career owned training institute where we train health-care workers who are going into working in the hospital, medical offices" and listed programs that include medical assistant, phlebotomy and EKG training, plus "100% online programs." The owner also said the affiliated home-care agency will "care for the community of Edison, and also the entire New Jersey with compassionate care and quality care."

Attendees counted down and cut a ribbon to mark the opening; event organizers and owners thanked the mayor, Chamber officials, guests, family and friends for their support as the ceremony concluded.

The new center’s stated offerings — in-person clinical training and online coursework, together with a home-care service — are intended to support local workforce pathways into hospitals and medical offices. No funding sources, enrollment capacity or licensing details were specified at the ceremony. The facility’s address was given as Route 1 South in Edison.
