The Morgan Township Board of Trustees approved a series of routine and administrative motions at the April 27 meeting, including minutes, warrants, a SmartSuite subscription purchase, acceptance of a staff resignation, and a meeting reschedule.
Minutes and warrants: Trustees moved to approve the work-session and regular meeting minutes from April 13 and the April 19 special trustee meeting; they also approved warrants (warrant numbers and subtotals were read on the record, with a transcribed total of $71,673). Each motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
SmartSuite license: Trustees discussed purchasing a SmartSuite pro license (five-seat minimum) to manage permits, meetings and records. The quoted annual price for the five-seat plan was $1,920 (alternatively $180/month); additional seats were quoted at $32 per seat per month. A motion to purchase the annual license was moved and approved.
Darren resignation: Trustees accepted Darren’s resignation from zoning enforcement and his involvement with the community park, effective May 1; the motion to accept the resignation passed by voice vote.
Schedule: The trustees agreed to reschedule the meeting that would fall on Memorial Day (May 25) to Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
