The superintendent opened nominations for president; Member Winkman nominated Matt Deltter, and Member Mc Williams seconded the nomination. After asking for further nominations, the board approved Deltter’s election by unanimous voice vote.
Nominations for vice president followed. A member nominated Miss Wakeman; after a second the board approved her appointment by voice vote.
The board also confirmed its clerk/deputy treasurer and treasurer/deputy clerk assignments, with voice votes approving the previous office holders. The superintendent completed officer verification before nominations were opened.
Board members said the reorganized slate reflected continuity of experience as the board prepares for upcoming policy reviews, contract negotiations and summer planning. The meeting moved on to committee appointments and the business portion of the agenda after the votes.
The newly elected officers will serve until the board’s next annual reorganization, and the board scheduled a workshop later this year to review self-assessment results and governance priorities.
