North 40 Chop House: Nick Brown, representing North 40 Chop House, described a Grape-and-Sizzle fundraiser scheduled for June 12 at the Miller Farm Event Center. Brown said the event will be indoors with a tent area adjacent to the building; the vendor will use ID checks and wristbands for alcohol control. The board voted to approve the special designated liquor permit.
Fast Stop Store 1151: Victoria Yusden appeared as the applicant representative for Fast Stop 1151 after the board had previously tabled the item to allow an appearance. Yusden said she manages a nearby store and will oversee training and compliance for the 1151 location; commissioners and the sheriff asked about supervision and periodic oversight. With the sheriff indicating no objections, the board voted to forward a positive recommendation to the state commission for a Class D license.
