Ms. Mosher (teacher and program coordinator) described the program’s mission to build a bridge between students, school administrators and law enforcement so safety concerns can be reported anonymously through the P3 system. Students demonstrated the practical steps they are taking to increase access: instead of QR codes they plan to distribute short Bitly links in Google Classrooms and MatCast so students can report anonymously without needing to scan a code during restricted phone hours.
Student members recounted attending the Student Crime Stoppers Campus Safety Conference and meeting peers from other districts; they also described a prom‑safety campaign modeled on a Panhandle program called a prom 'promise' (pledges to be safe and sober, make plans and look out for peers). The students said they will distribute stickers with the Bitly link so reporting is always accessible and will publish outreach content through school channels and Instagram.
Trustees praised the initiative and asked questions of the students; Ms. Mosher and the students said the chapter aims to reduce stigma about reporting unsafe behavior and to involve campuses across grade levels as the chapter grows.
