Resident urges action on ADA kayak launch and river channel access; staff reports TC Energy site coordination

Hen, who identified his address during remarks, said the ADA launch was funded through grants (he cited roughly $111,000) and urged the village to produce an action plan or schedule to clear the channel so people with disabilities can access the river.
Hen said volunteers had been ready to remove trees in October but could not do so because the committee lacked permission to cross a gas pipeline. In response, staff reported they had contacted TC Energy and arranged for a TC Energy representative (Joe) to visit the site the following week; staff said Randy and other village personnel would coordinate timing so tree removal and channel maintenance can proceed once TC Energy is on site.
Staff committed to relay the scheduling update to Hen and to include an overhead picture or aerial view of the river channel in a future packet to help committee members visualize the access issues and proposed remedies.
