Planning staff member Mr. Torres explained that corridor-overlay rules prohibit all-metal exteriors and require decorative roofs and masonry or stone treatments on exterior walls. "If it's the property that means it cannot have the buildings cannot be metal," Mr. Torres said during the review.
The commission approved the conditional use on the condition that the final design satisfy overlay architectural standards and that any required screening, setbacks and site details be provided prior to permit issuance.
