Staff said the system includes an inbox that flags messages requiring a human review and generates monthly attendance-trend summaries and short AI-written insights for staff use.
Administrators said the new product is nearly cost neutral because the district plans to discontinue its prior vendor (Attendance K12). Board members asked whether uploaded medical documents would be protected; presenters said files attach to the student account and can be downloaded and stored by the district, and that the district can train the system to restrict certain uploads.
Officials also clarified that official state reporting (EMIS) will continue to come from the SIS (Dazzle) and that teacher attendance marks remain the authoritative source for reporting. Implementation and data‑privacy reviews were described as next steps before broader rollout.
