The board carried the resolution after motion and second. The adoption aligns the district with the NIST framework recommended in House Bill 96; staff said additional remediation and vendor coordination will continue as the district transitions systems and addresses platform compliance questions.
The resolution was presented as a compliance and risk-reduction measure; the board did not attach new costs to the action at the time of the vote.
