Two supervisors stated they would abstain from the school funding vote (one said the decision was a direct personal financial impact). On roll call the board recorded five affirmative votes and the motion to fund the school bonus carried with abstentions. One supervisor recused themself from participating in school discussion and voting on that item earlier in the meeting.
