The Oneida County Land Records Committee approved resolutions on May 5 to convey excess county right-of-way parcels and an adjoining-owner request, forwarding each to the County Board as consent agenda items.
Sara Chiamulera, Land Information Office staff, reviewed a Wisconsin DNR request to acquire two excess right-of-way parcels (LT-143-1 and LT-154-1) along River Road in the Town of Lake Tomahawk. The committee approved the conveyance as presented, pending town approval, and voted to forward the resolution to the County Board as a consent item (Motion/Timmons/Schultz). The record shows the vote as 'All ayes.'
The committee also considered a standard request from adjoining landowner Klaas to purchase a portion of county-owned land along Pine Lake Road (part of parcel PL-299-2). Committee members approved conveying part of PL-299-2 to the adjoining landowner and forwarded that resolution to the County Board as a consent agenda item (Motion/Schultz/Timmons). The record shows unanimous approval.
Both actions were presented as routine, and committee members signaled support for forwarding the conveyances as consent agenda items for County Board consideration.
