Tonya Dunsmore, chief deputy auditor, said the county purchased a second Pitney Bowes Ship Cube for the mail room to allow desktop configuration and weigh larger items; the unit costs $399.99 with a $72 annual software/service fee and $32 shipping for a total of $471.99. Commissioners approved the purchase.
Facility staff reported work on the building'wide HVAC controls revealed 10 VAV boxes that were not operating; a repair quote to bring the boxes up to date was $13,155. Commissioners approved the repair work. Highway staff also presented a seal‑coating/restriping quote for the front half of the building at approximately $6,042; commissioners asked staff to seek additional local bids before final award.
All proposed easements, the postage‑machine purchase and the HVAC repairs were approved by roll call votes during the meeting; the seal‑coating vendor selection was deferred pending additional bids.
