North Providence honors state-champion co-op hockey team and civic-education award winner

"The BBS hockey team season was nothing short of unforgettable. A journey defined by resilience, belief, and the refusal to back down when it mattered most," coach Chris Lezy said.
In a separate recognition, the committee presented a citation and acknowledged the League of Women Voters (South County) award that included a $2,000 prize to Crystal Bozigian for excellence in civic education. Bozigian thanked administrators and parents and noted long-standing programs such as student government day and Washington, D.C., civic-education trips.
