Marcia Federer, acting as agent for the museum, presented the application and traced the site's signage history, saying the museum'0legal name includes "Museum of African-American History, Boston, Nantucket" and that prior signs had referenced multiple building names. "I'm acting as the agent Marcia Federer for the Museum of African-American History," she told the council and noted the museum had supplied documentation of earlier approvals.
