- Loras Boulevard Reconstruction and Repairs Project: Assistant Public Works Director Max O’Brien presented a $383,388.50 estimate to reconstruct concrete pavement in advance of RAGBRAI and to address undermined sections; council approved the resolution (6–0).
- 2026 Public Works Asphalt Milling Profile Project: Council approved the plans and construction estimate of $145,869.35 (6–0).
- Terminal Street Pumping Station Rehabilitation: Water and Resource Recovery Center Director Deron Muehring recommended approval of plans and an estimated probable construction cost of $1,061,000; council adopted the resolution (6–0).
- Concrete banding and crack sealing contract: Council awarded the public improvement contract to Eastern Iowa Asphalt Maintenance for $178,120, a bid 22% below the engineer’s estimate of $228,494; council adopted the resolution (6–0).
- Tri-State Modelers lease: Parks Director Matt Kalcevich presented a lease agreement for use of FDR Park; the Parks & Recreation Commission had unanimously approved the lease on March 10, 2026, and council adopted the lease resolution (6–0).
Each item was placed on the consent or public-hearing portions of the agenda, staff presented plans and cost estimates, and no significant public opposition was recorded during the hearings. The votes were unanimous where recorded.
