Botanic representatives said they had revised the site plan to add a 20‑foot drive and to provide 30 on‑site parking spaces in the revised plan and that they maintain shuttle and overflow parking arrangements and would pursue additional parking options if needed. They also noted the conservatory would be used for events and that they already operate a tent of comparable size for events.
The commission added an amendment calling for road improvements and a right‑turn/deceleration lane as part of the approval if warranted and retained staff’s other conditions. The motion to approve the conditional use with the amendment carried by voice vote.
