The Chino Valley Town Council voted unanimously to approve Ordinance 2026‑966 (case ZC2026‑02), rezoning approximately 3.06 acres at 3280 North State Route 89 from Commercial Light (CL) to Commercial Heavy (CH).
Senior planner Jessica Barrian presented the staff recommendation and said the rezoning brings a long‑standing manufactured‑home retail sales and storage operation into compliance so the business will not need an accessory conditional use permit. The planning and zoning commission forwarded a unanimous 7–0 recommendation for approval. Barrian noted proposed site improvements in the concept plan, including striped parking, landscaping buffers and a new site‑built sales office to replace an existing modular office.
Council member motioned to approve the ordinance, the motion was seconded, and a roll call vote recorded seven yes votes. The motion passed 7–0.
