In votes taken by voice, commissioners approved ordinance 2026-10 to rezone roughly 278.91 acres near Black Mountain Road from A-20 (agriculture, 20-acre) to RR-20 (recreational residential), enabling a proposed seasonal subdivision of 14 two-acre lots while preserving approximately 250 acres in common ownership.
