Seward County appoints two to Planning and Zoning after public interviews

Commissioners discussed board composition and residency requirements before holding the formal vote. After the roll and required procedure (ballots signed and attached to the minutes), the commission moved and seconded a motion to appoint Lauterback and Ekes; the motion passed by recorded vote.
The appointments fill unexpired terms ending Dec. 31, 2026; new appointees must sign the required forms and the vote will be attached to the permanent record.
