Gove County commissioners approve routine bills, minutes and several executive sessions

The Gove County Commissioners held a regular meeting March 9 at the Gove County Office Building and recorded several procedural actions and unanimous votes.
Adam Teeter moved and Joe Schmidtberger seconded approval of the meeting agenda; the motion passed unanimously. During the session the board approved three executive sessions: two for attorney-client privilege (a 15-minute session from 8:32–8:47 a.m. and a 10-minute session from 8:47–8:52 a.m.) and a 10-minute executive session for non-elected personnel (9:24–9:34 a.m.). All motions for executive session carried by unanimous vote.
Adam Teeter moved to approve add and abates numbered 2026000147–2026000161 and 2026000163–2026000166; Joe Schmidtberger seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Joe Schmidtberger moved to approve Accounts Payable checks (check 74461 for 2025 and checks 74462–74523 for 2026); Chuck Kuntz seconded and the motion carried. The board also approved amended minutes after a motion by Joe Schmidtberger and a second by Chuck Kuntz. Finally, Joe Schmidtberger moved to adjourn at 12:06 p.m.; Chuck Kuntz seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
All recorded votes in the minutes are unanimous; the minutes do not record any dissenting votes or roll-call detail beyond the named movers and seconders.
