Gove County commissioners approve routine agenda items, payments and hold brief executive session

Later in the meeting Kuntz moved to approve amended minutes; Schmidtberger seconded and the board approved the amendment unanimously. Schmidtberger then moved to approve add-and-abate entries numbered 2026000435 through 2026000444; Kuntz seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
In a separate motion, Schmidtberger moved to approve accounts payable checks numbered 74636–74702; Adam Teeter seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Teeter then moved to adjourn the meeting at 10:16 a.m.; Kuntz seconded and the meeting adjourned.
The board also voted unanimously to go into a five-minute executive session from 8:45 until 8:50 a.m. for non‑elected personnel with the commissioners, the county attorney and the clerk present; the minutes record the board returned to open session at 8:50 a.m. The minutes do not record further details about matters discussed in that executive session.
